 Atopic dermatitis. It is a genetic condition that manifests as localised dermatitis (dryness, redness, irritation). A good dermatologist is able to diagnose AD based on the symptoms observed. 

 Scarring and various types of scarring. Scars are most often caused by trauma, burns or dermatitis. During the dermatological consultation at Medicus Clinic, the doctor assesses the extent of the problem and then recommends an appropriate type of treatment. In the case of small scarring, pharmacological treatment has excellent results; for more extensive lesions, laser therapy or special ointments and lubricating preparations are ideal. 

 Various types of skin diseases, e.g. acne, rosacea, psoriasis, dermatitis, hyperhidrosis. Each case is considered individually and dermatological treatments are tailored to the patient’s needs and preferences. In our clinic, we use chemical peels, mechanical exfoliation, micro-needle treatment, pharmacology and special treatment preparations, among others. 

 Skin and nail fungus. Depending on the extent and severity of the disease, the dermatologist may prescribe appropriate oral medication, as well as support the treatment process with, for example, laser therapy. 

 Foot fungus. A good dermatologist can recognise (through the appropriate tests) the type of fungus that has attacked your feet. This enables him to make specific recommendations and prescribe effective medication to combat the disease. The treatment, depending on the individual body’s preferences, can last from a few days to as many as a dozen. 

 Psoriasis. Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease characterised by a tendency to relapse. Its treatment is hampered by the fact that its exact causes are not known. At Medicus Clinic, dermatologists select an individual treatment method (e.g. carboxytherapy) after conducting a thorough interview with the patient. 

 Acne. Due to the occurrence of several types of acne, doctors use various dermatological treatments to cure it. The most common treatments are medical peels, microdermabrasion or laser therapy. 

 Hyperhidrosis is a very embarrassing problem for many people and has a huge impact on patients’ daily lives. At Medicus Clinic, we use an effective method of treating hyperhidrosis with botulinum toxin.
