Acne rosacea
Treatment
In the case of rosacea, our dermatologists at Medicus Clinic always develop a treatment plan that will aim to shorten the course and severity of the disease and will also take into account all recommendations for rosacea treatment, including the inclusion of laser therapy. During the dermatological consultation, an assessment of the extent of the lesions, their phase, the size of the lesions and a study of the history of previous treatment will form the basis for implementing a treatment plan.
At our Clinic, we offer a laser therapy technique for the treatment of erythematous lesions as well as vascular closure. Combined therapies are used in the treatment plan, as this approach to the patient is our standard in order to meet expectations as quickly as possible – as most patients want to get rid of their acne skin problem as soon as possible.
Depending on the stage of the disease, in addition to topical and oral medications, rosacea treatment is supported by peels and laser therapy, which give an additional boost to the effects.
One of the most modern methods is the laser:
Perfect a’s V-beam uses pulsed dye laser (PDL) technology. The pulse of light reaches the lesion and is absorbed by the blood vessel, which is damaged and then removed by the body over a period of 2-8 weeks. In the case of extensive lesions or branching lesions, the treatment should be repeated; the series is determined individually in the Medicus Clinic treatment plan.
Chemical peels are an equally effective method used in the treatment of rosacea
Hibiscus Mandelic Peel
Gentle exfoliating acid with hibiscus flower extract shows strong antibacterial action, regulates pigmentation and soothes erythema.
Post-treatment results:
- has a firming effect on the skin
- evenness of colour
- shrinking of pores
- strong hydration and smoothness
- fresh and radiant appearance.
