Breast augmentation using the patient’s own fat

Breast modelling with own fat tissue Wrocław

For whom

If you are looking for an effective method that will allow you to simultaneously get rid of excess fat from certain areas on your body and gain attractive curves in others, fat grafting is the ideal solution. In this way, the shape of the buttocks can be improved, breasts firmed and enlarged, imperfections modelled and wrinkles reduced. The smoothing or filling effect is extremely natural.

Adipose tissue transplantation

This method is not only effective, but above all safe – fat as a living and natural tissue is the best filler. Contains stem cells with exceptional regenerative properties. This makes the transplanted tissues healthier and more flexible. The use of patient-derived material also reduces the risk of allergic reaction or rejection of the transplant by the body. Furthermore, it is a minimally invasive procedure – no lengthy hospitalisation or strenuous convalescence is required.

Anaesthesia and course of surgery

Fat grafting can be performed under local, general or intravenous anaesthesia and usually lasts between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the area of the suction sites. The length of stay in the clinic is related to the anaesthetic used and is a maximum of 1 day. The procedure begins with the administration of a special fluid designed to shrink the blood vessels in the area from which the fat will be extracted. The most common areas are the thighs, hips or abdominal area. The fat is then suctioned out using a suitable cannula mounted on a syringe. The extracted material, after appropriate preparation, is filled into a selected area of the body, e.g. lips, breasts, face. Finally, sutures and dressings are applied. In addition, the donor site is compressed with a special dressing or garment.

Recovery

For the first few days after the procedure, local swelling at the donor site and the injection site is possible, as well as redness or haematomas. These symptoms usually pass between 7 and 14 days after surgery and the sutures are usually removed on day 7.

It is advisable to cover the areas from which the fat has been taken with compression bandages and to subject them to massage. Exercise and hot baths should also be avoided for 2 weeks.

The first results can be seen as soon as the stitches are removed, but you will have to wait about three months for the final result.
