Resurfacing CO2

Problem

Scars, acne scars, skin lesions, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles,

For whom

The fractional, ablative CO2 laser with a wavelength of 10600 nm is used primarily for skin regeneration of the face and body. Skin lifting, removal of scars and stretch marks are just some of the beneficial properties of the device used at Medicus Clinic. The innovative pixel laser emission technology (simultaneous damage to the skin) reduces patient discomfort and prevents tissue overheating, shortening the recovery period.

Treatment

The laser light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the water it contains. It creates thermal micro-damage in the dermis in a precise manner, so that the body is stimulated to regenerate itself.

Effects

The effects are visible after the first treatment and deepen with each week. This is because it takes between 3-6 months for new collagen to form in the skin. After about six months, we can achieve the full result of the therapy, including skin tightening, wrinkle reduction, smoothing of furrows, correction of scars or improvement of skin colour. A series of 3-4 is recommended, every 4-5 weeks, depending on how invasive the previous treatment was
